Amanda Newport is Home Manager at Grosvenor House.

I would like to welcome you to our charming care home.

Grosvenor House is an attractive care home overlooking the sea in St Leonards on Sea. The home benefits from 33 spacious en-suite bedrooms with views of the sea, comfortable lounges and close proximity to the sea front.

We are proud of our home-cooked meals and our excellent programme of activities, which are designed to keep residents happy, stimulated and engaged. The care team’s mission is to ensure that all residents stay independent and make their own decisions.

Grosvenor House care home in St Leonards near Hastings is a lovely care home with one of the friendliest teams and warmest welcomes imaginable.  It is rated “Good” by the CQC and has achieved the coveted Eden Alternative accreditation from a multi-national body that recognises the importance of quality of life for older people and the importance of residents being central to every decision that is made.

Grosvenor House provides residential care, sometimes called elderly frail care and specialist dementia care in separate parts of the home. 

The home is managed by Greensleeves Care a not-for-profit organisation and one of the best and most respected care charities in the country.

Grosvenor House is purpose built care home so it is perfectly set up to make the delivery of care practical and easy for our care team.  But, it also has an unmistakable character and a feel of a seaside hotel, our residents love this and love how it does not feel like a care home.  There is a range of different bedroom choices with different sizes and different outlooks.  What they all have in common is that they all have en-suite wet rooms.  The home also has a large amount of communal space including fantastic terraces, a characterful dining room and a number of comfortable lounges.

Description

We have accommodation for 33 residents. Each room is fully furnished to a high standard and residents are also encouraged to bring in personal items such as pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture. The rooms are also equipped with a call bell system and TV point. The home is fully Wi-Fi connected throughout enabling all the residents and visitors to the home to benefit from continuous access to the internet. All rooms have en-suite wetrooms.
