What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

The safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff is our highest priority. We operate robust safeguarding procedures and all staff receive regular safeguarding training to ensure residents are protected and supported at all times.

We maintain strict infection prevention and control measures, including regular cleaning schedules, appropriate use of PPE and staff training in hygiene and infection control.

Risk assessments are carried out for all residents and regularly reviewed to ensure care is delivered safely and appropriately. The home also has comprehensive fire safety procedures, including regular fire drills, alarm testing, and staff training in emergency evacuation procedures.

Staff undergo thorough pre-employment checks, including DBS checks, references and mandatory training in areas such as moving and handling, medication management, health and safety and safeguarding.

We also conduct regular health and safety audits and ensure equipment is maintained and serviced to the highest standards, helping to provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone in the home

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
