Maria Climie is Manager at Eximius Live-in Care Limited.
Maria began her career in care in 1997 and has nearly 30 years of experience within the healthcare sector, including over 20 years specialising in the management of live-in care services. Her passion for supporting older adults and individuals with complex needs has remained at the heart of her career, driving her commitment to delivering exceptional, person-centred care.
Maria joined Eximius in 2018, inspired by the company’s dedication to providing truly tailored care and its ethos of “supporting life, individually,” which strongly reflects her own values and professional approach. Eximius is proudly rated Outstanding by the CQC and is amongst the top 4% of care providers in the UK to achieve this rating.

Founded in 2016 by Kate Hetzel, Eximius was created with a clear vision: to deliver care that focuses not only on a person's needs, but on their life, aspirations and independence. Inspired by her own mother's determination to remain independent despite the challenges of ageing, Kate built Eximius around the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to stay in their own home, surrounded by the people, memories and comforts they cherish most.
