Valerie Holland is Manager at Estherene House.
At Estherene House, our Manager plays a vital role in shaping the warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes the home so special. With extensive experience in elderly care and team leadership, she brings not only clinical knowledge but a deep understanding of what truly matters to residents and their families.
Her focus goes beyond day-to-day operations — they work to build real relationships with each resident, ensuring that care is personal, respectful, and responsive. By nurturing a strong, compassionate team and listening closely to those in our care, our Manager helps create a home where residents feel safe, supported, and truly at home.
Estherene House offers a wide range of care services which, in practice, are tailored to the needs of each resident. The home offers care and support to 36 older residents with or without dementia care needs.
Long-term residential care is welcome in this homely setting that focuses on a community atmosphere, though the home also welcomes respite care needs from the local community. The aim is to provide person-centred care in a warm and friendly environment.
