Michele Baxendale-Nichols is General Manager at Woodland View Lodge.
With over 35 years in nursing and healthcare leadership, I’ve built a career grounded in compassion, clinical excellence, and strategic impact. From frontline care to the boardroom, I’ve led with purpose—shaping services, standards, and people.
As Head of Nursing and Midwifery at MSI Reproductive Choices UK, I worked across 60+ clinics, ensuring quality reproductive healthcare for 70,000+ people annually, in close collaboration with the CQC. My earlier roles span Clinical Director, General Manager, and Head of Clinical Excellence across major providers including Barchester Healthcare, Majesticare, and Health and Social Care Services, where I focused on complex care delivery and service transformation.
A former NHS and care home board member, I bring a strategic lens to every role—while staying grounded in what truly matters: empowering people to thrive. I’m a trained executive coach and hold a Master’s in Healthcare Leadership and Management.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications |

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
