Meet The Manager

Kate Smith is Home Manager at Woodland Court.

As home manager, the most important part of my role is to ensure residents are living their best life every day. I am so proud of what we do here, knowing that residents receive the very highest standards of care.

In this position, you need to be approachable and understanding to support residents and their families. It is also important to me that colleagues feel supported and that they have a good work-life balance. In my previous role, we achieved an outstanding rating for internal governance which was incredibly rewarding as it showed our rigorous approach to compliance and effective management.

Outside of work, I spend my time with my husband and daughter and spending as much time in the sun as possible.
