Meet The Manager

Helen Cooke is Manager at Wilton Manor.

I joined the Sanders Senior Living family in June 2024, after spending over three decades devoting my life to the compassionate care of individuals living within Dementia, Nursing and Residential care homes. I am a trained Nurse by background.

I cared for my darling gentle dad who developed Dementia and I truly believe that unless you have had personal experience of such heartache, no one can really understand both the sad and happy times during such a journey. Dementia does not define a person and every person’s journey is different.

Throughout my 35-plus-year career, I have worked in numerous settings, from small family-run homes to large-scale care Companies, consistently advocating for person-centred care, emphasizing tailored, meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation, physical health, and emotional well-being with family and friends being at the heart.

safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
