Jessica Ellis is Home Manager at Waterhouse Manor.
I have dedicated over 12 years to a career in care, beginning as a senior carer and progressing to Home Manager. For the past five years, I have successfully managed two homes within the same company, with particular expertise and passion for dementia care. Committed to delivering quality, person-centred care, I am excited to lead Waterhouse Manor as a commissioning home, supporting residents and staff to grow and thrive together.
Outside of work, I am a proud mum of three children aged between 4 and 12. While family life keeps me busy, I enjoy reading and watching crime series in my spare moments.
Waterhouse Manor in Ely provides round the clock residential and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis, as well as compassionate end of life care.
The experienced and well-trained team aim to create a caring and supportive community for residents and their loved ones. Residents can enjoy the quality facilities including a café, cinema room and hair and beauty salon.
Each tastefully decorated bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and outside there is a beautiful, landscaped garden, perfect relaxing with loved ones.
Set within the picturesque Cambridgeshire countryside, the dedicated activities team organise regular activities, events and outings for residents.
