Meet The Manager

Lynn Lovett is The Home Manager at Upper Mead.

Welcome to our warm and inviting home from home in the beautiful historic village of Henfield. Set in a quiet area at the heart of the community, Upper Mead has always been known for its excellent care and for our team’s determination to go the extra mile to ensure every resident lives their best life.

I started working nights as a care assistant when I had my two children and soon realised that care was the perfect career for me. I was thrilled to move into dementia care at Upper Mead in 1996, soon taking on the role of dementia unit leader. Having supported other managers for a number of years, I was delighted to be offered the position of home manager in 2013.

Upper Mead has been my 2nd home for 25 years. With proud achievements including my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and two outstanding performance awards, I am pleased to use my experience to nurture and develop our fantastic team.
