Meet The Manager

Joe Patterson is Manager at Ullswater Cottage.

Working in the care sector has been my vocation for 26 years - I have worked in residential care and nursing Care.

I started my career as a care assistant and worked my way through to team leader, Deputy Manager, and ultimately became Home Manager. I can therefore see things from a different angle, as I have experience in most roles.

I am passionate about care and my role in helping people to be the best they can be whether that is my staff team or the residents living in the home I am lucky enough to manage.

My role as Home Manager is to ensure the safety and happiness of my residents and to work closely with my team to develop their skills through training and guidance.

I always strive to promote a family atmosphere within the home, and this is inclusive of everyone: residents, families, friends and staff. My door is always open. Please come and see me. My goal is for everyone to be happy, content and safe.
