At the heart of the attractive market town of Crieff in Perthshire, The Birches is a beautiful period house that has been converted into a care home of distinction with 30 beds offering residential and residential dementia care.
The Birches’ Home Manager will make sure that all Residents receive the kindest possible care. Our extensively trained team will deliver all the specialist care and support services that your loved one requires. Personalised care plans consider not only medical, personal and dietary needs, but also the individual’s likes and dislikes, religious preferences, and any suggestions from family members that might make their stay with us that little bit more enjoyable.

With its peaceful, enclosed garden, looked after by some Residents, The Birches provides many great spots to socialise, relax and catch up with friends and family. A welcoming home, it has three sitting rooms and three dining areas, all with specially designed furnishings for maximum comfort. A treatment area and hairdressing salon provide further opportunities for Residents to relax. The bright, comfortable bedrooms and living areas are all easily accessible by wheelchair. |

The carers and Residents at The Birches enjoy playing an important part in their local community. The home encourages an atmosphere of fun and inclusion and runs a weekly programme of events, which includes talks and demonstrations from local people willing to share their knowledge and talents. Performers from the area regularly visit and entertain Residents with songs, sketches, singing and dancing, and members of neighbourhood groups, volunteers and other locals often drop in for a cup of tea and a chat. |
