Amanda Jelbert is Care Home Manager at Heatherton House.
I have worked my way up from care assistant to registered manager, achieving my NVQ Level 5 along the way. I take pride in prioritising high-quality care and is committed to finding innovative ways to drive standards forward.
Heatherton House in Littleover provides round the clock residential and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis, as well as compassionate end of life care.
The experienced and well-trained team aim to create a caring and supportive community for residents and their loved ones. Residents can enjoy the quality facilities including a café, cinema room and hair and beauty salon.
Each tastefully decorated bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and outside there is a beautiful, landscaped garden, perfect relaxing with loved ones.
Located just 10 minutes from Derby’s city centre, the dedicated activities team organise regular activities, events and outings for residents.
