Mandy Kennedy is Registered Manager at Roxburgh House.

Mandy Kennedy is an experienced care professional with over 30 years of service in the adult social care sector. She currently serves as the Registered Manager of Shottendane Nursing Home and Area Manager for several homes within the Discovery Care Group in the Thanet area.

Beginning her career in 1989 as a Care Assistant, Mandy has progressed through every level of care, bringing deep insight into both the clinical and operational aspects of managing nursing and residential services. She has a proven record of turning around homes from “Requires Improvement” to “Good” ratings and is highly skilled in leadership, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.

Her focus on person-centred care, staff development, and continuous improvement has earned her strong professional respect — including being awarded Discovery Care Group’s Manager of the Year in 2023 for outstanding leadership and commitment to excellence.
