Several local doctor’s surgeries serve Roundhay sheltered housing, and family doctors can visit the house if necessary.

We continue caring for our residents for as long as possible. Those whose needs increase may be able to obtain domiciliary care within the house. However, we do not (and legally cannot) provide personal care. When the time comes that we are no longer able to look after a resident, we will assist them and their family with the decisions that must be made.

Roundhay features communal spaces where residents can socialise and enjoy each other's company. The light, airy lounge encourages residents to meet to watch television and play cards or board games. All rooms have their own ensuite shower and toilet. The residents’ rooms are cleaned weekly and our House Manager encourages residents to personalise their living space with their own furniture items, ornaments and pictures. For security and safety, all rooms have an emergency call system with a personal alarm pendant connecting them to an external monitoring unit.
