Meet The Manager

Gayle Duthie is Manager at Raemoir Manor Care Home.

Moving into a care home is one of the most emotional decisions a person and their family can make, and at Raemoir Manor Care Home, we never lose sight of that. As Home Manager, I understand that behind every enquiry is a family hoping they are making the right choice, and a person who deserves to feel safe, respected and truly at ease. From the very first moment, our priority is to offer reassurance, warmth and genuine care so that this transition feels supported rather than overwhelming.

We believe every resident brings a lifetime of experiences, routines and individuality, and it is our responsibility to honour that in everything we do. Life here is not just about care, it is about comfort, dignity and belonging, and creating a place where people can settle, feel known and continue living with meaning, surrounded by kindness every single day.

Gayle Duthie

Raemoir Manor Care Home offers tailored luxury care and a calm, all-inclusive environment for older people and their families in Banchory and the surrounding Aberdeenshire communities. Set within the beautiful landscape of Royal Deeside, our home brings together professional nursing support, comfortable surroundings and a friendly team who focus on each resident as an individual.

Our approach is centred on dignity, choice and continuity of life. Whether someone is with us for long‑term support or a short stay, we work closely with residents and those important to them to understand personal preferences, routines and goals.
