Kai has over 26 years of experience in health and social care, including senior leadership and management roles. She is passionate about delivering person-centred support that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Kai is particularly committed to reducing loneliness and social isolation among older adults, especially those living alone. She believes that meaningful companionship, human connection, and community involvement play a vital role in improving quality of life and emotional well-being.
Her vision is to provide compassionate, reliable support that helps people remain connected, valued, and independent in their own homes.
We believe that true wellbeing is impossible without human connection. Prime Years Companion Agency was born out of a desire to change how society supports people when connection matters most.
Like many families, the idea for Prime Years Companion Agency started when we realised our own loved ones were spending too much time alone. While their medical needs might have been met, their emotional and social needs were being critically underserved.
We searched for a service that focused purely on joy, conversation, and shared activities rather than generic care visits. Finding nothing that met our standards, we built it ourselves.
Today, Prime Years Companion Agency stands as the agency we wish we had found back then. An agency where empathy, patience, and true personality matching are the baseline, not an afterthought.
