Meet The Manager
Damien King is General Manager at Pinetree Care Home.
I have over 10 years’ experience in social care and the NHS working in many different roles. I have been the General Manager here since January 2025. I have completed my Level 5 apprenticeship in Leadership in adult social care and many other certifications.
I wish to assure you of my intention to offer outstanding service for all our residents and family members. I am committed to continuing to offer and improving life enrichment to enhance the life of our residents.
I am friendly and approachable and my door is always open to anyone should you need to discuss anything.
Pinetree Care Home, a brand new purpose-built care home in Rayleigh is now open! Our care team offers excellent 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment. Alongside long-term care, we also offer short-term breaks for respite and intermediate care.
As well as providing excellent professional care, our entire team is dedicated to fostering a sense of home and of belonging. That means taking plenty of time to understand individual residents, their likes and dislikes, and exploring all the ways we can make them happy and comfortable. It’s all about giving our residents and their loved ones the confidence that we’re providing the very best of care, and delivering special resident experiences every day.

For those living with dementia, there is a dedicated area called Memory Lane which offers high quality care and thoughtful touches to help make life easier. For example, features include a Rainbow Table – this is an interactive touch screen that creates an immersive interactive experience for residents. It's a specialist piece of technology designed to support residents living with dementia. Additionally, our interior space, colours and bedrooms are all designed to help with difficulties associated with dementia. |
