Murrayfield House is conveniently situated in a leafy suburb of Edinburgh. This beautiful care home with 96 beds offers residential, nursing and dementia care. This stylish home combines a beautiful Grade A listed building with a purpose-built extension offering Residents a number of places in which to relax, dine and socialise with views of the garden. In addition, Residents enjoy visiting the Courtyard café and on-site ballroom.

The large, attractive courtyard garden, is a favourite location in which to relax or socialise with friends and relatives, featuring raised beds which our Residents enjoy gardening from time to time. Further outdoor space surrounds the newer part of the home with a landscaped south facing garden with seating. All comfortable and well-equipped living rooms and bedrooms are easily accessible by wheelchair. Rooms have views across the garden or courtyard.

Activities Are So Important

The carers and Residents at Murrayfield House enjoy playing an important part in their local community. The home encourages an atmosphere of fun and inclusion and runs a weekly programme of events, which includes talks and demonstrations from local people willing to share their knowledge and talents. Performers from the area regularly visit and entertain Residents with songs, sketches, singing and dancing, and members of neighbourhood groups, volunteers and other locals often drop in for a cup of tea and a chat.

The home offer weekly trips out to the local community, using the Murrayfield House minibus.
