Meet The Manager

Adam Talis is General Manager at Loveday Kensington.

Adam’s interest in care was sparked following his grandmother’s dementia diagnosis as he struggled to find appropriate residential care to meet her needs. Seeing the hospitality side of care was neglected in care homes, Adam made the decision to make the career move into the care industry to help address this gap and improve the standards for those living with dementia in care homes.  Adam undertook intensive training and became a Registered Manager with BUPA in 2018 and a year later took over the management of their flagship home – BUPA Kensington.

In October 2020 Adam was recognised in the Queen’s Honours List for his dedication during the Covid Pandemic in keeping residents safe; a testament to his passion for care which is unwavering.

Founded in 1685, Kensington Square is reportedly London’s oldest garden square and is only a short walk from the bustle and glamour of Kensington High Street, one of the most famous thoroughfares in what is one of the capital’s most sought-after districts.

Directly opposite the square, and discreetly located through a charming Grade-II-listed archway, lies the stunning Loveday Kensington. This elegant residence is within a brief stroll of many of central London’s finest shops and boutiques, restaurants, bars and museums, not to mention the green open spaces of Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.
