Samantha Middleton is Manager at Glanffrwd.
Situated in a peaceful area of Pencoed, near Bridgend, Glanffrwd is a welcoming, purpose-built care home with 45 beds, which offers residential and nursing care.
Glanffrwd’s Home Manager will make sure that all Residents receive the kindest possible care. Our extensively trained team will deliver all the nursing and specialist care and support services that your loved one requires. Personalised care plans consider not only medical, personal and dietary needs, but also the individual’s likes and dislikes, religious preferences, and any suggestions from family members that might make their stay with us that little bit more enjoyable.

Glanffrwd is a warm, friendly home with two sitting rooms, two dining areas, a tearoom and a hairdressing salon. The large landscaped garden, which is looked after by some of our Residents, is a favourite location in which to relax or socialise with friends and relatives. |

The home encourages an atmosphere of fun and inclusion and runs a weekly programme of events, which includes talks and demonstrations from local people willing to share their knowledge and talents. Performers from the area regularly visit and entertain Residents with songs, sketches, singing and dancing, and members of neighbourhood groups, volunteers and other locals often drop in for a cup of tea and a chat. |
