There’s also Killerton House, a National Trust property, only six miles away. In addition, there are a number of local landmarks to discover, such as the fine church, the Bull Ring (where the market is held) and The Walronds, which is a beautifully restored manor house.

The farmers’ market in the town is award-winning, selling delicious locally reared goods. In addition, the town hosts a number of pannier markets and expanded street markets. High Street and Fore Street were the town’s commercial heartbeat in Victorian times. Now, they’re alive with a number of local shops, bars and restaurants, including an award-winning butcher.
