Meet The Manager
Sarah Lewis is General Manager at Florence Court Care Home.
I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years, and I joined Barchester Healthcare in 2021 as the Deputy Manager before being promoted to the General Manager in 2024 at Florence Court.
I am extremely proud of the outstanding and fulfilling care that we deliver on a daily basis, enriching the lives of our residents is extremely important and being able to do it in this amazing environment is wonderful.
I was really excited to progress in my career and I have been extremely well supported by Barchester to do this. It brings me great joy to be the manager of such a beautiful home, with an extremely hard-working team. Supporting our residents in this luxury setting is a privilege.
Florence Court Care Home in Fareham provides excellent 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment. Alongside long-term care, we also offer short-term breaks for respite and intermediate care. Our experienced and dedicated team are ready to deliver exceptional standards of compassionate care, which focuses on the individual needs of each resident.

The home features a wide range of facilities including a Sky Terrace for alfresco dining, a dedicated cinema room and sociable café. As with all Barchester homes, there is a full and varied schedule of virtual and live activities each and every day which residents are welcome to get involved in as much or as little as they wish. For those living with dementia, there is a dedicated area called Memory Lane, which offers high quality care and thoughtful touches to help make life easier. Features, such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low risk walkways and activity kitchens enable resident’s to engage in life's everyday simple tasks and pleasures. |
