Melanie Fenton is Manager at Dovebourne.
Melanie began her career in 1987 as a Residential Social Worker with the London Borough of Ealing Council. Since then, she has remained passionate about supporting people to live safe, dignified, and fulfilling lives.
Over the years, she has progressed from frontline roles into senior leadership and has proudly served as a CQC Registered Manager for 26 years. Her extensive experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and hands-on leadership ensure the highest standards of care are always at the heart of what we do.
Melanie is dedicated to building supportive, effective teams and delivering truly person-centred care that makes a meaningful difference each and every day. Having worked for just four employers throughout her career, she brings loyalty, stability, and a genuine passion for the sector.

Located in the peaceful village of Hatton, just outside Burton upon Trent, Dovebourne is thoughtfully designed to offer the perfect blend of comfort, personalised care and contemporary living. Set along Derby Road, our soon-to-open home will provide a welcoming environment that is still close to local amenities and easy for families to reach.
We offer a range of care options, including residential, dementia and respite care, delivered by a compassionate, professional team who take the time to understand each resident’s routines, preferences and needs. Families will be welcomed as partners in care, with open communication and ongoing support throughout their loved one’s journey.
