Adeyemi Awopeju is Registered Manager at Delore Care East Sussex.
Delore Care was founded on a shared frustration.
Our founders spent years working across the care sector, from large national providers to smaller local operators, and saw the same challenges repeated everywhere.
Families wanted good care. Carers wanted to deliver good care. The people receiving that care deserved nothing less. But the systems, pressures and processes around them didn’t always make it possible.
Care became rushed for the sake of efficiency. Visits became tasks. The human moments that matter most – a familiar face, a conversation, a small act of kindness — got lost in the mechanics of delivering a service.
Delore Care was created to demonstrate that high-quality, relationship-centred care is achievable with the right culture, training and operational model – not as an aspiration, but as a daily reality. For the people we care for. For the families who trust us. And for the carers who make it all possible.
Our Heathfield branch is based at Monkhurst House in Sandy Cross Lane and provides at-home care across Heathfield and the surrounding villages in East Sussex. A local team delivering care that is personal, unhurried and genuinely committed to the people we support.
