Welcome to Community Quality Care Services

Community Quality Care Services is a family-run care agency based in the heart of Blackburn, proudly serving the local community and surrounding areas. Led by a dedicated team of three business directors and a registered manager, our leadership brings over 40 years of combined expertise in business operations, customer service, social care, and regulatory compliance.

Registered with the Care Quality Commission in 2024, we are currently awaiting final approval for our registered manager. We plan to launch services by the end of August 2025, beginning with a comprehensive range of non-regulated support. Once registration is complete, we will expand to include regulated services such as personal care and the application of topical creams.

Our mission is to build a skilled, compassionate workforce supported by in-house training, weekly team “ward rounds,” and an out-of-hours on-call service. We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that is affordable, accessible, and tailored to the needs of individuals and families across Blackburn, Darwen, and neighbouring areas.

We offer flexible tariffs/rates dependant on the method of funding (private, direct payment, personal health budget & local authority spot contracts). The fees advertised are the starting hourly & bank holiday rate for private packages.

We offer 30-minute, 45-minute, hourly, and block-hourly visits, with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week. Bank holiday visits are charged at double time, and cancellations require 7 days’ notice.

We proudly support diverse households:

For couples, we’ll prepare and serve food or drink for both individuals at no extra cost.
If the second person requires care, we offer additional support at a reduced hourly rate.
Light pet care services are available, subject to a risk assessment—because pets are part of the family too.

For full details on tariffs, rates, and promotional offers, please contact our friendly team by phone or email.

Our Pets

Pet-Friendly Support that respects the whole household & prioritises safety and dignity

At Community Quality Care Services, we understand that your pets are family too. That’s why we take their wellbeing—and our team’s safety—seriously.

If a household includes pets or requests pet-related services, we carry out a comprehensive risk assessment to ensure:

  • The pet is registered with a vet and receives regular health checks
  • Vaccinations, flea, and worm treatments are up to date
  • Care staff are appropriately matched and free from relevant allergies
  • Any history of biting or aggressive behaviour is disclosed and assessed
  • The home environment is safe for both clients and care staff
  • To establish if the pet and/or household carries insurance

Whether it’s sharing space with a furry companion or offering light pet care as part of our support package, we put systems in place that uphold comfort, safety, and dignity—for everyone. Because when we say person-centred care, we mean the whole household.
