Catherine Potts is Manager at Claremont Care Home.
Situated in Whitletts in the seaside town of Ayr, Claremont is a friendly care home with 80 beds offering nursing and nursing dementia care.
Claremont recently underwent an extensive refurbishment programme which transformed communal areas including dining rooms, lounges/day rooms, reception area, bathrooms and corridors. During the refurbishment, each area was thoughtfully designed to enhance the daily life of every Resident.

With sitting rooms, space for Residents to pursue their hobbies and interests and a lovely dining room, Claremont has a host of places in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and be creative. The pretty landscaped garden and patio is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family, and is happily looked after by some of our Residents. |

Many Residents take pleasure in hobbies, including baking, writing, gardening, dancing, painting, quizzes, and playing chess. Some enjoy being a member of the Residents’ forum. |
