Michelle Fleming is General Manager at Brookfield House Care Home.
My first role at Brookfield House was as a Care Assistant on the Elderly Mental Dementia unit (EMD). From day one, I was drawn to the challenging nature of the work, and I quickly realized how rewarding it could be. I dedicated myself to learning and growing in this field, and with time, I worked my way up to a senior position.
Following my dedication and hard work, I was fortunate enough to be offered a Unit Manager post on the EMD unit at Brookfield. This promotion felt like a testament to the trust and confidence the company had in my abilities. For nearly three years now, I have been proudly serving as the manager of the Brookfield House.
Throughout my time at Brookfield House, I have been incredibly grateful for the unwavering support and guidance provided by the company. I am constantly inspired to push myself further and explore new horizons in the field of elderly care.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
