Meet The Manager
Katie Wilkinson is Manager at Bayleaf Care Home.
I am extremely passionate about supporting and building the care team for Bayleaf following our life enrichment programme. I have worked in the care sector for 27 years in a variety of different roles: in nursing, residential care, learning disabilities and mental health and acquired brain injury. I have been a General Manager for over 10 years.
I believe strongly in collaborative care, working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals. My door is always open if I can be of any help with your care enquiry. Please do not hesitate to call or pop in for a coffee and a chat. I feel extremely passionate about welcoming families and supporting them through finding care for a loved one.
In my free time, I enjoy exercising and being outdoors.
Bayleaf Care Home is a brand new, purpose-built care home in Huntingdon that provides excellent 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment, as well as caring for those living with dementia. Alongside long-term care, we also offer short-term breaks for respite and intermediate care. Our experienced and dedicated team delivers exceptional standards of compassionate care, which focuses on the individual needs of each resident.

Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life. Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise. |
