Paul Burns
Head Chef

Hi there, my name is Paul and I am Ashton Manor’s Head Chef.I have been working with food since I left school, working on a fruit and vegetable stall – that’s where my love of food started! I have broadened my skillset working as a bakery manager at Sainsburys and then in Lancaster University and also St John’s Hospice.I want the people at Ashton Manor to be happy and to give them what they want, not just what they need. We’re trying to build something really special here and we want people to have a mealtime experience as good as you’d get in a hotel. Overall, it needs to be top-notch quality: if I wouldn’t eat it then I won’t serve it, and nothing leaves the kitchen until myself and Lee (chef) are 100% happy with it.
