Rebecca Blackburn is Manager at The Craven Nursing Home.
Hi my name is Rebecca, I joined Craven Nursing Home in January 2022 following the previous long term manager retiring.
I am a qualified nurse and have successfully run nursing homes for a number of years, having achieved an “Outstanding” rating with the Care Quality Commission.
I am so proud to have joined Craven Nursing Home. The staff, residents and relatives have been so welcoming. Craven is a lovely home and plays an important role in the local community. I am proud to be part of such a warm, welcoming, and caring team
My passion is providing outstanding care and support to all our residents, their loved ones and the staff team. I look forward to helping Craven go from strength to strength and continue to deliver high standards of king dignified and compassionate care and providing excellent support for our hardworking staff team.
At The Craven we aim to deliver compassionate, exceptional care in a safe friendly environment. We want our residents to relax, socialise and live as independently as possible whilst receiving the very best person-centred care.
Our 65 rooms all have en-suite facilities and are light and spacious. They are stylishly decorated throughout and we encourage our residents to personalise their rooms to make them as homely as possible. Our lounges and day rooms are large, comfortable spaces with social interaction in mind.
We are fortunate to sit in a beautiful location by the canal, with lots of wildlife to see and generous grounds to be able to enjoy fresh air.
