Jacqueline Johnstone is Manager at Cold Springs Park Care Home.

She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents. Jacqueline closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.

Part of a peaceful residential community just outside Penrith, Cold Springs Park is a friendly care home with 60 beds offering residential and residential dementia care.

Cold Springs Park underwent an extensive refurbishment programme in 2021/2022 which transformed communal areas including dining rooms, lounges/day rooms, garden area, kitchenettes, reception area, and bedrooms

With sitting rooms, space for Residents to pursue their hobbies and interests, and lovely dining rooms to choose from, Cold Springs Park has a host of places in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and be creative. The pretty landscaped garden and patio is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family, and is happily looked after by some of our Residents.

Activities Are So Important

The carers and Residents at Cold Springs Park enjoy playing an important part in their local community. The home encourages an atmosphere of fun and inclusion and runs a weekly programme of events, which includes talks and demonstrations from local people willing to share their knowledge and talents. Performers from the area regularly visit and entertain Residents with songs, sketches, singing and dancing, and members of neighbourhood groups, volunteers and other locals often drop in for a cup of tea and a chat.
