Betty Madamidola is Home Manager at Cloisters Care Home.
"I have been dedicated to the health and social care sector since 1997, starting as a carer and progressing through roles such as cardiology nurse, Night Manager of a 150-bed nursing home, and, for the last five years, Registered Home Manager. My hands-on experience has shaped my approach to care and management, ensuring regulatory compliance, fostering high-quality care, and leading dedicated teams.
I also hold an MSc in Information Systems, enabling me to leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency and improve care quality. Committed to professional development, I strive to deliver exceptional care and support to those I serve."

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
