Comissioning Manager

I joined Cinnamon Care Collection in 2015 as GM, working with a Company and team who are passionate about delivering quality care and making a difference. I am excited and privileged to be given the opportunity to commission Rokewood Court.
Rokewood Court will be a home where quality and compassion are stitched into the very fabric of the building, combining luxurious surroundings with a genuinely passionate team, offering the highest standards of care and a warm atmosphere where our service users can live comfortable and fulfilled lives.

I trained as a General Nurse in 1973 and has over 30 years of experience in the Senior care in a variety of management roles and prior to joining Cinnamon Care Collection was a Village Manager in Jersey managing a site with 2 homes and a ‘pub’.

I am responsible supporting families and friends who are looking for a care home for their loved one and to ensure our stunning care home has a visual presence in and around the community.

I have worked in the care industry for 20 years. Working across the country to support care home managers to deliver excellent customer service to their customers and their community.

I moved to Kenley in the summer of this year with my partner . A Londoner born and bred and very proud of my roots. My family and friends are my world, they know my door is always open . With 4 grown up children I find my home life is never dull. A good work life balance is important to me with a passion to help people achieve their goals in life.

Maintenance Manager

Here at Rokewood Court my role is to ensure the residents are safe and comfortable in their environment and the building is kept in tip-top condition.

I like spending time getting to know the residents and if time allows, I may be found holding an impromptu singsong in the lounge with my ukulele.

I am a qualified carpenter/joiner of 40 years’ experience, having run my own business for 10 of those years. I have worked in care since 2013 as a carer then an as activities assistant. I moved over to the maintenance side two years ago helping to commission a new home.
