Meet The Manager

Sue Monger is General Manager at Trinity Manor Care Home.

In 2017 I was aware that Barchester were completing a new build being built in my favourite area for the country, Dorset and as my dream was to live and work in Dorset this seemed a natural progression for me to follow.

As the General Manager of Trinity Manor I look forward to developing this new home within a building that is not only purpose built but is stunning and impressive to all who enters. It is a place of companionship, partnership, kindness and love.

Sue Monger

Home Services Advisor

Hi, my name is Dovile, and I am the home services advisor here at Trinity Manor. My passion is and always been networking and being around people.

I have started at Barchester in June 2019 and loved every minute of it. When I joined the company I had no experience in care background, nonetheless the role suits me perfectly and brings out the best qualities empathy, interest in people and area, business development, the right amount of competitiveness and desire to win. My previous roles were Sales Executive and Business Development Manager in secondary packaging industry.

Admin Assistant

Hi, my name is Kate and I am the Administrator here at Trinity Manor working closely with the Admin Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home.

I have been an administrator for a number of years working for a large service provider in an education setting. I am very much a people person and despite having never worked within the care sector before I am really looking forward to the challenges ahead.

It is quite something to be part of the founding team and it will be lovely to see the home grow with residents and new colleagues.

The Importance Of Meal Times

It is essential that the people we will be supporting have access to healthy food at all times, so our fantastic catering team will always be on hand to prepare tasty and nutritious cuisine. Our food will always be cooked to highest standard and with residents’ preferences always in mind. The importance of a balanced diet will never be forgotten here, and our varied menus will have something for everyone to enjoy.

For residents that have difficulties in swallowing we modify the menu of the day so that is it a soft, palatable dish.  To support our chefs in producing these dishes, our hospitality and Chef Academy organises theory and practical workshops.  Working in partnership with Nutricia, our practical workshops involve all chefs and deputy managers learning about dysphagia and producing these modified menus. The chefs work with the chef trainer to prepare fork mashable and thick puree meals to the correct consistency, taste and presentation.  The deputy managers can then ensure all modified menus served are presented correctly for our residents.

Activities Are So Important

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they will organising.
