Katy explains, “I have always wanted to help people since my mum worked in a care home, and I saw the difference she made to people’s lives. I am very passionate about providing high quality care and the positive benefits this brings to our clients. Lis Barnes is the co-owner and director of Radfield Home Care Wycombe, Beaconsfield and South Bucks. The vast majority of Lis’s career, spanning over 40 years, has been in Human Resources. Lis commenced her career in the UK, moving into a European role, finishing with a Global remit. During this time, Lis covered all aspects of Human Resources ranging from recruitment, employee motivation and engagement, high potential identification, recognition and reward, leadership development, equality and diversity, and policy development.

Lis explains, “A home care business is a people business, providing services to a very important, growing part of our community. All businesses are as good as the people who work for it. It is critical to creating an environment where people can reach their full potential, work as a team and are able to contribute to the success of the business through their ideas and contributions.”

Matt, co-owner and director of Radfield Home Care Wycombe, Beaconsfield, and South Bucks, for the past 11 years has worked in the financial services sector as a research analyst, operations manager, and client adviser, assisting individuals and businesses with their financial planning.

In addition, Matt has been involved in the start-up and development of SME’s, helping to put in place business systems to enable growth and scalability. Matt also has experience in recruitment and as a local business account manager in London within the fast-paced telecommunications industry.

As a qualified financial planner, Matt wants to use his experience to grow a business in this rewarding sector, to help the local older community.
