Meet The Manager
Diane Dalton is Manager at Byron Lodge Care Home.
Dianne has been with the Crownwood group since May 2023 and was promoted to Home Manager in September 2024. Dianne is a Registered Nurse and has over 14 years of experience within many hospital settings and also in forensic nursing.
Dianne has a passion for elderly care, and has all of our residents' needs at heart. She is looking forward to building and supporting the staffing teams to ensure that our residents receive the best care possible and that Byron Lodge continues to move forward successfully.
Byron Lodge is a purpose built care home with nursing, opened in 1994. Situated in the up and coming Medway town of Gillingham, it is conveniently situated close to Gillingham town centre and has the benefit of main bus routes and easy access to Gillingham train station. The Home is set over 4 floors and boasts large communal areas.
The Home aims to provide high quality personalised nursing care to meet the needs of the individual whilst encouraging choice and independence in a friendly, relaxed and homely environment.

Byron Lodge offers a wide range of Activities throughout the week which are led and organised by our Activities and Social Inclusion Co-ordinator, with activities on offer, ranging from Bingo to cheese tasting. We endeavour to ensure that all of our residents can take part in activities they enjoy. As well as group activities, the Home also carries out bedside 1:1 visits and 1:1 activities. The Home often has external singers and musicians visit including the local primary school choir to entertain our residents. |
