Michelle Harwood is General Manager at Anning House.
I trained and qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse but have a lot of experience of working in older people’s care.
I think someone in my role should be passionate about delivering great care, and about understanding each resident’s needs, as well as those of the home team. That way you can ensure harmony in the home. A strong and supportive management team is a must too. One of my favourite parts of the day is when I have the chance to chat to the residents as well as the team.
I’m very proud of the team we have here at Anning House, and I’m looking forward to working with them to find new ways to enhance the care we provide.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications |
---|
Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant. Being able to help residents transition from home or hospital into a care home environment and into the next phase of their life is a huge responsibility and extremely rewarding. I have been working here since September 2015 and I love being able to bring the home to more families. ![]() Sharon HoskinsAdministration ManagerI started working here in August 2013 I was employed first as one of the reception team and was then promoted to Administration Manager in January 2019. I am responsible for the recruitment of all team members, payroll, finance support, billing, and all aspects of administration. I have a team that work below me which includes three receptionists. I love helping people and think the little things make a big difference. It is a pleasure to work with the team here. |
