Our recently-refurbished 68 bed home offers the highest standard of living, while keeping residents safe and secure. 

All our homes come fully-furnished and have en-suite bathrooms and upgraded communication facilities, that includes movement sensors and a new nurse call system.

Situated near Woodside Park station in North Finchley, Meadowside Care Home offers all the benefits of living close to local shops and services, while providing calm and peaceful surroundings for the residents.

    Meadowside Care Home has recently been refurbished to the highest standard so that residents are happy, comfortable, and, most importantly, safe. The bedrooms have been decorated in a light and airy way, and the en-suite bathrooms have accessible toilet facilities.

    The innovative design of the home includes dementia-friendly colour schemes, circadian rhythm lighting, and in-built falls sensors in all bedrooms. We also have separate dementia-friendly living rooms complete with sensory equipment and a sensory garden, which are specifically designed for residents with dementia.

    We have a hairdresser's on site, and a local hairdresser who visits the care home once a fortnight so that residents can always look their best.

    At Meadowside care home, regular activities are organised by our dedicated coordinator, which helps keep residents’ bodies active and
    minds sharp. These events can include tea parties, garden parties, quizzes, and bingo, and they take in a wide range of cultural events
    over the year. We also have a wide range of activities provided by visiting professionals, including theatre companies, local museums that provide interactive reminiscence sessions, musical entertainers, visits from local nursery children, and volunteers who facilitate reading and exercise sessions. 

    We love getting out and about in the local community, and regularly arrange trips to the cinema, seaside, museums, or simply going out for a cup of tea and a slice of cake. We believe in empowering our residents to live healthy and active lives and to be part of a community where life-long memories are made.
