Susan Machin is Care Home Manager at Hillcrest.
As a team, we are passionate about providing quality care in a safe and comfortable environment to enhance the lives of our residents with family support and inclusion to maintain a home-from-home feel.
Hillcrest Care Home is located in the pretty historic town of Alnwick, within easy reach of local shops, public transport and the A1(M). The home offers Nursing Care, Residential Care, Dementia Care and Respite Care.
Built in the 1800s as a family home for a wealthy brewing family, the Georgian grandeur of this impressive building has been added to and modernised over the years, having served as a local maternity hospital in the 1950s and gaining a modern extension in the 1990s.
