Meet The Manager
Sindu Saju is Manager at Bluebell Court Care Home.
I’m Sindu Saju, Regional Manager at Unity Homes, with a career dedicated to compassionate, person-centred care.
I joined Unity Homes in 2008 as a Registered Nurse, passionate about supporting people to live with dignity, choice and independence. Over the years, I progressed through various roles, gaining valuable insight into the needs of residents, families and care teams.
In 2016, I became Registered Manager of our specialist EMI dementia nursing home, leading a dedicated team to create a safe, welcoming environment where residents felt valued, respected and at home.
I believe outstanding care starts with a strong, supported team. I value staff development, teamwork and positive leadership, encouraging colleagues to grow and deliver care tailored to each individual.
I was shortlisted for the Great British Care Awards for Best Care Home Manager and now support three homes across the Northwest, promoting high standards and sharing best practice.

With 69 bedrooms, Bluebell Court provides residents a safe and welcoming place to call home. Our dedicated team takes the time to get to know each person, understanding their individual needs, preferences, routines and life experiences. This helps us provide support that feels personal, respectful and reassuring.

We provide residential care in Lower Broughton for people who need support with everyday living, for those living with dementia and more complex needs.

Life here is about more than support and routines. We encourage residents to remain active, social and involved in the things they enjoy, while discovering new interests along the way.
Our activities programme is designed to promote mental stimulation, physical wellbeing, creativity and social connection. Activities may include arts and crafts, gardening, gentle exercise, quizzes, games, music and entertainment, film afternoons and pamper sessions.
There is something for different interests and abilities, and residents are always encouraged to participate at their own pace.
Some people enjoy lively group activities, while others prefer quieter moments such as listening to favourite music, looking through photographs, having a conversation or spending time with loved ones.
Our team takes time to discover what brings each resident pleasure, purpose and a sense of achievement.
