Rebecca Bewley is Home Manager at Foxgrove Residential Home.
I’m proud to lead a team that creates a warm, safe and welcoming home. Our staff are local, we work closely together and always go the extra mile for our residents. I’m passionate about supporting people to live their best lives — listening to their individual needs and giving them choice in what they do and how they live each day. I’ve worked in care for many years, hold my Level 5 in Adult Residential Care and Registered Manager’s Award, and I’m currently studying towards my Level 7.
Foxgrove is widely regarded as one of Felixstowe’s finest care homes. The warm friendly atmosphere and the elegant lounge and dining room at this care home in Felixstowe combine to create a charming environment for our residents. All our comfortable and generously proportioned bedrooms are en-suite, decorated to an exceptionally high standard, and have a telephone and television point provided. Whilst they are all fully furnished we encourage residents to bring with them their own items of furniture and personal effects so that their room can become truly their own.
Standing in tree-lined grounds of nearly two acres, Foxgrove enjoys a delightful setting in the heart of Old Felixstowe. This handsome Victorian mansion stands uniquely positioned for access to all local facilities, with a post office and general store in the immediate vicinity. The nearby cliffs and town centre provide a perfect setting for walks or relaxation although residents are also happy to enjoy the beautifully maintained gardens.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
