Meet The Manager

Grant Brodie is Registered Manager at Belmont View.

Grant started studying and working in the Health & Social Care sector in 2009 and qualified as a Diagnostic Radiographer in 2015. Grant has worked for a large NHS trust before moving into the social sector in 2019. He has also worked in various management roles before becoming a deputy and then a registered service manager. Started at Belmont View in January 2026 and became a Registered Manager in April 2026.

Grant has a real interest in health and social care and caring for the residents within Belmont View. Grant is always finding ways to improve services within Belmont View for the residents and always has their best interests as a priority

Welcome to Belmont View, a luxurious family-run care home set in the historic and picturesque market town of Guisborough.

With 30 years experience of providing high-quality residential care, Belmont View provides long-term residential, respite and day care for the elderly and those living with dementia.

Residents are cared for by our highly trained staff who cater for all residents needs whilst ensuring that privacy and dignity is upheld at all times.

We have all the facilities you would expect from a high-quality home including larger than usual rooms each with en-suite shower facilities, a variety of lounge and dining areas, a beauty salon, restful garden areas and a host of daily activities.

Our Building and Facilities

There are four large lounge areas in the home, as well as informal seating where residents can decide to relax and socialise.

Both lounges on the ground floor have access to garden areas.  The sunroom on the ground floor has access to a large outdoor patio area, with various seating available and seasonal flower beds. This area oversees the town centre, allowing residents to watch the world go by in a relaxing environment.

Belmont View has two large outside garden areas.

The relaxing garden is accessed from the sun-room and has seating, attractive planting and paved areas. This large area overlooks Rectory Lane, which provides a lively street scene, perfect for people watching!

Description

Belmont View has 50 resident rooms, each of which is larger than usual at up to 26 square metres in size. Each room has a luxurious en-suite wet room with a level-access shower.

Our on-site maintenance team are happy to help with furniture moving in, installing pictures, putting up TV's or other requests.

​Each ensuite includes a walk-in shower wet room, with an automatic light allowing individual personalised care.

​Bedrooms are single, but if couples wish to share, this can be accommodated by using two rooms; one for a bedroom and one for a personal lounge.

Activities Are So Important

Our activities co-ordinator is responsible for arranging activities for residents. Staff are passionate about residents enjoying their daily lives, whether in a group or on an individual basis.

Regular events are organised for birthdays, celebrations for important events or trips out.

Activities regularly include Arts & Crafts, Singing Circles and Chess club.  Belmont View also has regular visitors performing music and singing.
