Melissa King is Manager at Jubilee Court.
The Home Manager runs all aspects of the home and ensures that the home provides a high standard of care. The role is very varied, involving plenty of resident interaction alongside the more administrative work to keep the home running smoothly.
Our Managers typically hold, or are working towards, a relevant qualification and have proven experience in caring for older people.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant. | Activities Are So Important |
|---|
|
Keeping busy and active is important for both emotional and physical wellbeing, which is why we have a broad range of activities on offer at Jubilee Court and a dedicated Activities Team. When you move into the home we will take a detailed record of your life history, including your likes, dislikes, previous hobbies and interests. We will then create a wellbeing programme which is suited to you. Our Activities Team organises a wide range of events and activities, from arts and crafts, to exercise programmes, cooking clubs, games, quizzes, parties, film nights and days out, so there is something for everyone. We also provide gentle activities such as hand manicures or pampering sessions for those who prefer a quieter approach to life |
