As the Interim General Manager, I am responsible for the day-to-day management of the home. I support and lead every department and team member to ensure we deliver quality care and the best home experience we can to our wonderful residents.
t is also very important for me to be available for our residents and their families, to remind them my door is always open and they are welcome!
At Wellington Vale, we have the expertise and facilities to take care of you or your loved one whether you seek the companionship and stimulation of every day care, a comfortable home and help with everyday tasks, or dementia care. Short-term respite is also available for those in need of convalescence, holiday cover or simply a break.
Our friendly management team has an unrivalled depth and breadth of experience gained from many years’ service in all aspects of high-quality residential and nursing care. They dedicate their extensive knowledge and skills to leading and mentoring staff so that, together, we are the difference in the lives of every individual within our care.
Established in November 2016, Wellington Vale is a luxurious, purpose-built care home that offers 80 spacious en-suite rooms in a luxurious, safe and welcoming home environment. In addition to expert 24-hour care, we provide a wide variety of engaging activities and outings to keep our residents stimulated, connected and happy.
It is part of the Cinnamon Care Collection, an exclusive group of luxury care homes and retirement villages throughout the country, which is dedicated to great design and outstanding care.
Situated between the village of Denmead and Waterlooville, Wellington Vale overlooks miles of ancient countryside. To one side there’s Portsdown Hill and the idyllic South Downs, to the other lies the protected nature reserve of the Forest of Bere. Wellington Vale is close to the historic dockyard city of Portsmouth, and is ideally placed to enjoy either countryside or seaside activities.
