What we're doing to keep residents & visitors safe

Company contract for all cleaning chemicals, new plant based product in use.

MHA have integrated incident reporting system, this lets managers and quality team monitor all accidents and including clinical issues such as falls and wounds. Digital support plans mean timely care records and close monitoring of issues such as weight loss or sore skin.Routine of weekly and monthly audits to monitor quality of care and satisfaction with meals.

Staff training across MHA includes comprehensive induction of new staff and renewal for longer serving staff. Requirements for care are regularly assessed and numbers of staff are adjusted as needed to maintain safe staffing.

Infection Control Initiatives in place
safe-tick Independent Assessments We have been independently assessed in our approach to infection control.
safe-tick Infection Control Training Our staff are trained to use measures which prevent and control infections.
Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
