Aime Brown is General Manager at Tyspane.
I am a registered Nurse and I live locally to Tyspane with my husband and two daughters. Throughout my career I have worked in a range of care settings, including the NHS and I find my work just as rewarding today as it was when I began. Our residents are at the heart of all we do and every team member is here to bring a person centred approach to each individual.
My role at Tyspane is to make sure that our residents lead happy, fulfilling lives making the best of each and every day in a safe and beautiful environment.
I have an ‘open door’ policy and will do my best to support residents their families and my staff team alike. Please come and visit us, we would love to meet you and show you our beautiful home.
Tyspane is a purpose-built care home home that provides high quality residential and 24-hour nursing care for older people, alongside younger adults with multiple sclerosis or physical disabilities. We also offer an intense rehabilitation programme for people with a wide variety of conditions on a long or short-term basis.
Our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team consists of professionals, including nurses, healthcare assistants and a physiotherapist, who provide a holistic, person-centred approach based on working towards identified individual goals. Our individualised approach to care is reflected in all aspects of our home, including our cooking, hospitality and organised activities.
Tyspane Care Home is located within walking distance of the old village of Braunton and close to the glorious beaches and rugged countryside of Exmoor. The home is set within its own beautifully landscaped gardens, situated on the North Devonshire coast with panoramic views across the Taw Estuary.
We think you’ll find we’re ideally suited to meet your specific needs, so please feel free to drop in or give us a call to discuss how we can help you.

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.
