Safe Visiting Space
safe-tick We have a safe visiting space

We welcome back visitors to our care homes, as visiting is a central part of care home life. It is crucially important for maintaining the health, wellbeing and quality of life of residents. Visiting is also vital for family and friends to maintain contact and life-long relationships with their loved ones and contribute to their support and care.

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications

Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant.

Our biggest asset at Old School House are without a doubt our amazing staff. We have lots of members of our team who have been with us for many years. We believe the retention of our staff is so important to the successful working of our home, and the reason for this is two-fold.

Firstly, they bring invaluable expertise to the table about how our home runs on a daily basis, but furthermore, this provides a stable environment for our residents and gives them some vital continuity. All of our staff thrive on having great relationships with residents and always endeavour to get to know all of them on a deep and personal level.

We always find that having a close bond between staff and residents improves the quality of care and both parties’ satisfaction immensely.
