Matthew joined the Temple Ewell team in January 2023, Matthew has a wealth of experience and has a passion for EOL and Dementia Care, Matthew is always looking for ways to better improve and enrich the lives of our residents Matthew is looking forward to taking Temple Ewell forward ensuring the Home offers the highest standard of nursing care and continuing to make improvements to the facilities at Temple Ewell.

Temple Ewell Nursing Home is situated in the quiet, picturesque village of Temple Ewell within a short distance to the coastal town of Dover, in the heart of the countryside.

The Home aims to provide high-quality personalised nursing care to meet the needs of the individual whilst encouraging choice and independence in a friendly, relaxed and homely environment.

The Home is practically purpose built and has been tastefully extended over the years whilst retaining an underlying beautiful Georgian building. The Home stands in its own grounds and benefits from panoramic views across the surrounding valley. The Home is set over 3 floors with Communal areas including a Bar available to all residents and visitors.

Activities Are So Important

The Home offers a varied Activities & Social Inclusion timetable with something to suit most interests. We have Activities & Social Inclusion Co-Ordinators who, between them, work 6 days a week and lead in the preparation and delivery of these activities, which include bingo, arts and crafts, reminiscence and quizzes. 

Our Activities & Social Inclusion Co-Ordinators, also carry out bedside visits, small group and one to one activities. We also have external singers and musicians who attend our Home to entertain our residents and also external physical fitness instructors who deliver fun keep fit exercises for our residents.
