Lisa Burrows is General Manager at Cranford Grange.
Cranford Grange offers a superb tranquil retirement option for those with a love of the countryside. As General Manager, and a registered nurse with over 30 years' experience and previous matron, I set exceeding high standards of nursing care. I am passionate about the delivery of high quality care to residents and proud to lead a team of dedicated and knowledgeable professionals here at Cranford Grange. As within health and social care sector, we strive each day to ensure that we create a culture of integrity and professionalism. My favourite part of the day is time spent with residents, either in the bistro joining them for a cup of tea or in the activities lounge, hearing how we've made a positive impact on their life, and understanding how we can continue to grow and meet their diverse needs. Whenever I have spare time I enjoy rambling through the countryside with my family and our springer spaniel.
Cranford Grange provides first class care to residents who require residential, nursing and dementia care. Since the early stages of the pandemic, our teams have been working to a pandemic plan which is updated regularly to reflect any changes to either UK or Scottish government guidance. This plan includes a range of measures aimed at both reducing the likelihood of new Covid-19 infections and reducing the spread of infections where they occur. |

Connectivity for resident testing, monitoring & communications |
---|
Infection control and the safety of both residents and staff often requires quarantine measures and the isolation of care home residents. To test, monitor and allow residents to communicate with relatives, the prevalence of room-level connectivity within the home is becoming increasingly relevant. Wireless Internet access (WiFi) Yes, our care home has WiFi in all our resident’s rooms. Mobile Phone Network Coverage (mobile “signal”) Our care home has mobile phone signal in some of our residents’ rooms. Telephone for external calling Yes, our care home provides a telephone in all our resident’s rooms. |
Social media provides an up to date window on the activities within a provider's setting.
With the restrictions on visiting during the pandemic, social media platforms such as these offer real insight when you are choosing a provider.

I’ve managed a palliative care unit and worked in several hospices in West Cheshire and North Wales. ![]() Dawn WelliamsDirector of Community RelationsI have worked here since 2013 and I still love my job today as much as the first day I joined the community. As the first point of contact for anyone enquiring about Cranford Grange, I feel fortunate to be able to assist families and to deliver the bespoke service we offer and that makes Cranford Grange such a special place. The most rewarding aspect is supporting families and new residents during what can be an emotional experience. I feel privileged to help in the journey towards the decision to join our community and then seeing them flourish and make new friendships is the ultimate reward. ![]() Lisa WestReminiscence CoordinatorI have always had a passion for working in the care industry and decided once my two boys were old enough to be independent to further my career. Knowing the Knutsford area I decided on Cranford Grange as I had heard about the exceptional person-centred care delivered by the care team. As well as ongoing learning and development I started medication training and became a medication technician, I then progressed to a Senior Care Assistant which I loved. ![]() Sylwia PisarczykAssisted Living CoordinatorI have over 10 years' experience in the care industry. I am passionate about ensuring that residents are at the heart of care and that their wishes and preferences are followed and acted upon. With a special interest in delivery of high quality of end of life care, since I graduated from Middlesex University in 2015 I have spent time developing my skills and knowledge to deliver palliative care in a holistic manner. I strongly believe that by communicating openly and listening to people’s wishes we can make a real difference and ultimately enhance quality of life. Outside of work, I love reading suspense, crime or science-fiction with my favourite author being Stephen King. ![]() Sue BeckettHead HousekeeperWorking within the care sector for over 15 years has been a rewarding journey, from domestic duties to heading a full housekeeping team. I am responsible for health and safety, infection control, hygiene, and providing leadership and support to the housekeeping and laundry operations at our community. I have worked here since 2018, ensuring exceptional standards are maintained in line with CQC, regulatory bodies and government requirements. Personally, having very high standards, I constantly strive to improve our already admirable services with the highest attention to detail and cleanliness. Having the advantage of a fabulous housekeeping team with me allows me to have pride in our fresh and clean home for residents. ![]() Alison FawknerHead ConciergeI joined in December 2018 as Head Concierge as part of a great team of receptionists who are all committed to providing excellent service to all residents, professionals, families and visitors. Having over 20 years' experience within customer service roles, and managing a number of reception and building management teams, I have gained tremendous understanding of how important customer service is. Key aspects to this fantastic job is ensuring empathy, trust and comradeship and a on hands approach with true knowledge of each and every person who works and lives here. It's a pleasure to work and to be part of the Cranford Grange community who pride themselves on ensuring the residents needs and welfare are the top priority. My job is rewarding and I am delighted to be part of the Cranford Grange team. |
