Laura Williams is Manager at Sunnyside.
Situated four miles east of Manchester, just outside Droylsden, Sunnyside is a friendly care home with 43 beds, offering residential and residential dementia care.
Sunnyside’s Home Manager will make sure that all Residents receive the kindest possible care. Our extensively trained team will deliver all the specialist care and support services that your loved one requires. Personalised care plans consider not only medical, personal and dietary needs, but also the individual’s likes and dislikes, religious preferences, and any suggestions from family members that might make their stay with us that little bit more enjoyable.

A lovely home, Sunnyside offers Residents a variety of places to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and to be creative. Many of the rooms have lovely views of the garden. The very popular hairdressing salon provides a further opportunity for relaxation. Outside, the peaceful, enclosed garden and patio, looked after by some of our Residents, provides an ideal location for spending time with friends and family. All stylish and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair. |

The carers and Residents at Sunnyside enjoy playing an important part in their local community. The home encourages an atmosphere of fun and inclusion and runs a weekly programme of events, which includes talks and demonstrations from local people willing to share their knowledge and talents. Performers from the area regularly visit and entertain Residents with songs, sketches, singing and dancing, and members of neighbourhood groups, volunteers and other locals often drop in for a cup of tea and a chat. |
